QC Kakobuy: how warehouse quality control works

Quality control is the most valuable part of the agent model and the easiest to waste. Here is how to use it properly.

What warehouse QC includes

When your item arrives, the warehouse photographs it on a plain background: front, back and usually close-ups of logos, stitching and hardware, plus a measurement or weight note. The set is attached to your order and visible before international shipping is allowed.

What QC is not: it is not a grading service and not a guarantee. The photos are evidence you can inspect, not a verdict someone else hands down. The judgement belongs to you, and the moment to make it is before the parcel leaves China.

What to check on clothing

Look at print and embroidery edges, the inside label and the care tag, and the colour against the listing. Compare body length and chest with your own measurements. Uneven stitching along a seam is the clearest sign that a batch was rushed.

What to check on shoes

Check the heel tab, the midsole paint line, the tongue length and the toe box shape. Decide whether you want the box; if not, plan to remove it to save volumetric weight, and compare the insole length if the listing provides it.

What to check on accessories and jewellery

Weight and hallmark matter most. Ask for a weight note on silver jewellery, because a hollow pendant is not what a good set should show. On bags, check hardware finish, stitching along the flap and the alignment of any monogram.

How the QC process runs

  1. Warehouse intake

The parcel arrives and is logged against your order.

  2. QC photography

The item is photographed on a plain background with close-ups.

  3. Buyer approval

You review the set and approve or raise an issue.

  4. Consolidation

Approved items are combined and optional box removal is applied.

  5. International shipping

The parcel ships and a tracking number is issued.

Frequently asked questions

How long do I have to review QC?

Storage is free for a period and the window is generous, but decide within days rather than months so a problem can still be fixed cheaply.

Can I request specific photos?

Usually yes. If the standard set misses something you care about, ask for an extra angle or a measurement before approving.

What if the item is wrong?

Raise it immediately. A domestic return inside China is far cheaper than discovering the problem after international shipping.

Should I reject small flaws?

Only flaws that will bother you in normal use. A speck no one will see is not worth the delay.
